For the love of bees .......

An independant  group of experienced beekeepers formed the IHP to study honeybee social organization and to encourage and support new beekeepers to take up the craft. Primarily based in N Devon we use modern technology, a spread of different skills, considerable beekeeping experience, together with a willingness to apply our limited money and resources where our greater passion lies.......

The IHP is a registered charity (#1127888) and is always happy to welcome new members and donations.

We welcome suggestions and comments.

Next Sunday’s Discussion Meeting at Harracott Hall and Apiary, 6th June 2010, noon start.

This will be informal, of course, tea and biscuits as ever … The last few seemed very successful.
Open Day/Beekeeping Taster afternoon, Sunday July 25th, noon – 4 p.m.

There will be a nominal small charge for this event.  Anyone interested in taking next year’s beekeeping course (starts April 3rd 2011), might find this useful.

Anyone can participate in the Sunday beginners course on an ad hoc, occasional basis, on payment of a small charge. This is useful as a refresher on particlular topics, or to sample the course before next year.
